Want to be part of a team that embraces career growth through world- class training and investing in each team member's development? This is your opportunity to work for an award-winning company with a dynamic growth strategy and a Finance team committed to bringing passion, integrity and customer focus into everything we do. We value flexibility, collaboration and work-life balance, coming together both in-person and remotely.
This is a rare opportunity for a senior finance leader who wants to shape global accounting strategy while leading with integrity, empathy, and impact.
As Vice-President, Corporate Controller at Deltek, you will serve as a trusted partner to the CFO and executive leadership team, overseeing global accounting, compliance, and financial reporting across a complex, international software business. You'll bring rigor and clarity to critical decisions - while also being a visible, people-centred leader who knows how to stay connected to teams during moments of pressure, change, and growth.
This role is ideal for a leader who thrives at the intersection of technical excellence and human leadership: someone who can navigate ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and address difficult issues with courage and authenticity - without losing sight of relationships or culture.
What You'll Be Trusted to Lead
Global accounting and reporting at scale
You'll own the integrity of Deltek's monthly/quarterly and annual global financial reporting including AP, AR, Billing, Collections, Statutory accounting, Tax, revenue recognition. You'll ensure accurate, timely, and transparent results across U.S and international entities, in compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and local statutory requirements.
Judgment in high-stakes environments
From audits to complex accounting judgments and regulatory change, you'll bring calm, credibility, and sound decision-making - especially when the pressure is on.
Strategic partnership and influence
You'll work closely with the CFO, executive leaders, Sales, M&A, and Roper Technologies to support growth, SaaS deal structures, acquisitions, and long-term value creation - often navigating differing perspectives to arrive at the right outcome.
Leadership across cultures and time zones
You'll lead and develop a global Accounting organization, including shared services teams in the Philippines and India, fostering trust, collaboration, and accountability across regions and cultures.
Continuous improvement and transformation
You'll help evolve systems, processes, and controls to support a growing, dynamic software business - bringing people along through change with clarity, transparency, and purpose.
What Makes This Role Different
You won't just "own the numbers" - you'll shape how Finance shows up as a strategic, values-driven partner to the business.
Your leadership style matters as much as your technical expertise. Success in this role comes from your ability to connect, listen, and lead through complexity with courage and care.
You'll have real visibility and influence with executive leadership and global stakeholders - while still staying close to the work and the people doing it.
You'll join a company recognized for its culture, where learning, development, flexibility, and wellbeing are genuinely valued.
Work Location:US (Remote) Qualifications: This role is a strong fit for a senior accounting leader who:
Brings deep technical expertise in global accounting, SaaS revenue recognition, and compliance - and knows how to apply it pragmatically.
Is comfortable addressing sensitive issues, resolving conflict, and making tough calls with integrity and transparency.
Can balance urgency and results with empathy, collaboration, and respect for people.
Enjoys mentoring leaders, developing teams, and creating environments where accountability and trust coexist.
Sees leadership as both a responsibility and a privilege.
