Position DescriptionProgram Summary:Peckhams Graduate Leadership Development Program is an 1824-month rotational program designed to develop future leaders within Peckham Industries Construction businesses. Participants rotate through core functional areas including Estimating and Bid Preparation, Project Management, Intro to XBE including financials and job monitoring, safety and more. Our program, designed to foster future leaders, will allow you to develop your decision-making, communication, and technical skills, with the help of personal mentors and hands on learning. Upon graduation, you will be placed in a key role contributing to the business unit. Program Learnings:1. Protect Family and Friends through employee engagement, prioritizing zero incidents, and complying with all company and federal safety policies and procedures. The role is obligated to be proactive and take necessary corrective actions to resolve safety related issues and to ensure a safe workplace. It is essential to maintain a safety culture that fosters openness, innovation, idea sharing, and actions to improve.2. Understanding the Business - We are committed to serve. Our mission is to provide superior construction materials, products, and services and to exceed expectations for honesty, quality and on-time delivery using teamwork and drive.3. Teamwork. Apply learning opportunities to ensure reliable, quality driven plant operations. Position RequirementsRequirements, Education and Experience:1. Bachelors degree required in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field. An Associates degree may be considered with strong academic performance and relevant construction, heavy civil, materials, field operations, internship, or co-op experience.2. Minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred.3. Strong listening skills with the ability to communicate effectively across field and office environments.4. Highly organized with effective time-management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced construction setting.5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.6.
