We strive to celebrate the diversity of our employees, as they are part of the fabric of this great credit union.Title of Position: Service and Sales Representative Position Overview: As a Service and Sales Representative (SSR), you deliver exceptional service to our members as the primary contact for members regarding the status of their account and any escalation. Assist members in setting up new business, consumer, and IRA accounts. Resolve account related concerns, provide general credit union information, intake and process loan applications including residential mortgage lending. Rotates to perform branch duties to include Member Service Representative activities. Assist Sr Branch Member Account Specialist and Member Service Representative staff with member approvals, questions, or concerns. Act on notary and Signature Guarantee requests. Position Type:Full-Time. Regular shifts include Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM with rotating Saturday shifts 8:30AM - 12:30PM. Compensation Range:$23.00/hr. - $ 30.00/hr.Hiring rates may be dependent on a number of factors, including years of directly related work experience, education, geographic location or special skills Location:Position is on-site at 5001 State Highway 23 - WellNow Plaza / Suite 5 , Oneonta, NY.At this time, Visions Federal Credit Union will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization or offer any immigration related support for this position.Responsibilities/Duties: Prioritize member demands while providing impeccable member service. Greet members warmly, address inquiries. Resolve and follow up on member concerns promptly and courteously. Guide members to specialized team members for further assistance or final resolutions as needed. Uphold understanding of all offered products and services. Identify opportunities and recommend products and services to members, to align with their financial needs and aspirations. Engage in constructive conversations with members to expand member accounts and experiences with the credit union. Must be licensed with NMLS & Registry. Must be trained and assist with Medallion Signature Guarantee requests. Obtain notary within established timeframe to assist with requests. Conduct cash handling and transaction processing accurately, adhere to established procedures and regulatory guidelines. Verify member identification and authorization for transactions to safeguard against fraud and unauthorized access. Provides departmental back-up coverage as needed. Respond effectively to changing ideas, responsibilities, expectations, trends, strategies, and other processes. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias.
