Summary

The Guest Relations Associate provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors by managing check-in and health screening processes at Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) facilities. This role ensures all visitors are pre-approved, properly badged, and directed to the correct location. Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying visitor status in the Visitor Management System, checking authorization in Epic, de-escalating challenging interactions, and supporting the smooth, professional operation of the Visitor Management Program with minimal supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities

Conducts mandatory health screenings for all visitors and records results in the Visitor Management System before allowing entry.

Verifies visitor status and issues badges using the Visitor Management System.

Serves as a welcoming representative of CHCO, delivering high-quality customer service to patients, families, visitors, and team members with professionalism and courtesy.

Enforces hospital visitor policies; confirms authorized visitors in Epic and initiates the patient registration process when applicable.

De-escalates challenging situations involving patients, families, or visitors and maintains a safe environment by following infection control protocols and keeping assigned areas clean.

Minimum Experience Required: Three (3) years' experience as a Surgical Technician or Instrument Tech

Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.17

Children's Colorado delivers annual base pay increases to eligible team members based on their performance over the previous year.
