Senior Solution Advisor - SAP Build & SAP BTP for Supply Chain Management
Role Summary
As a Senior Solution Advisor (SA), you will play a key role in positioning SAP Build within the broader SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) portfolio. You will design and deliver compelling SAP Supply Chain Management solution experiences that demonstrate how SAP Build, together with Integration, Automation, Data, and AI services, enables clean core extensions and accelerates business innovation.
You will collaborate closely with account teams and solution advisors across ERP, Supply Chain Management, Industry, Integration, and AI to create tailored demos, extension scenarios, technical sessions, and product overviews that clearly articulate business value.
The role requires 5 years of professional experience in enterprise software/IT, including customer-facing presales, solution advisory, or application development experience.
Key Responsibilities
Position SAP Build as a strategic extension and innovation layer within SAP BTP.
Design and deliver customized demos showcasing extensions, automations, and AI-enabled use cases.
Support discovery conversations by translating business requirements into solution concepts using SAP Build and other BTP services.
Demonstrate how SAP Build integrates with SAP Supply Chain Management solutions and S/4HANA while maintaining clean core principles.
Deliver product overviews, workshops, and solution presentations.
Collaborate across BTP solution areas (Integration Suite, Automation, Data & AI) to present unified platform value.
Contribute reusable demo assets, extension templates, and best practices to scale impact across accounts.
Support account qualification and opportunity development with solution-driven insights.
Articulate business outcomes tied to extensibility, process efficiency, and innovation.
Transition validated solution concepts to implementation teams for execution.
What You Bring
5 years of experience in enterprise software, presales, solution advisory, or application development.
Experience working with SAP Build and familiarity with broader SAP BTP capabilities.
Strong understanding of clean core strategy and side-by-side extensibility.
Working knowledge of SAP BTP services including Integration, Automation, Data, and AI.
Understanding of APIs, OData, REST-based integrations, and event-driven concepts.
Ability to translate business challenges into solution architectures and demonstrations.
Strong presentation skills across business and technical audiences.
Experience leading workshops, technical sessions, or customer enablement activities.
Outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to connect platform capabilities to measurable value.
Sub-Solution Experience - SAP Build (Primary Focus)
Hands-on experience with SAP Build Apps, Build Process Automation, and/or Build Work Zone.
Experience designing application extensions, workflows, approval processes, and user experiences.
Ability to demonstrate integration between Build solutions and SAP Supply Chain Management solutions.
Familiarity with security roles, identity concepts, and governance within BTP.
Experience embedding automation and AI-driven scenarios into extension use cases.
Ability to create tailored customer solution scenarios aligned to industry or business priorities.
Platform Knowledge - SAP BTP (Supporting Focus)
Awareness of SAP Integration Suite and API-based connectivity.
Understanding of SAP HANA Cloud and data-driven extension scenarios.
Familiarity with SAP BTP AI capabilities and custom AI use cases.
Understanding of event-driven architectures and process orchestration.
Ability to position SAP BTP as a unified innovation platform supporting ERP transformation.
