What You'll Do
The Accounts Payable Manager oversees the Accounts Payable department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while leading process improvements and vendor relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.
Process Management: Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Invoice Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments while resolving discrepancies and issues as they arise.
Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to optimize payment processes and negotiate favorable terms.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts payable, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and reduce costs within the accounts payable function.
Metrics Management: ensure we have in place or develop the proper tools and metrics to measure individual and team performance
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and finance, to ensure alignment and compliance with organizational goals.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
Experience & Education
Minimum 10 years Accounts Payable management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Proven track record of leading teams in fast faced environment
Demonstrated success in achieving operational and financial goals and driving results

Experienced in converting a decentralized to a centralized team.
Work Environment
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
In-office role
Standard business hours with occasional extended hours during month-end close or audit periods.
Collaboration with field teams and periodic travel to branch locations as needed.
