The Role
As the Market Engagement Manager, you are the face of our attraction within the local community. Your mission is twofold: leading a high-performing field team that captures the "spontaneous" traveler on the street, and building a sophisticated web of partnerships with hotels, concierges, and peer attractions. You don't just wait for guests to find us online; you meet them where they are and ensure our view deck is the "must-see" recommendation of every influencer and local stakeholder in the city.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Local Partnerships & Referral Programs
· Build and manage strategic partnerships within and adjacent to the Prudential Center complex, including hotels, retailers, restaurants, nearby attractions, and the convention centers.
· Design, test, and scale referral programs, cross-promotions, and commission-based initiatives.
· Host "FAM" (Familiarization) tours and site visits for partners to ensure they can speak passionately about the view deck experience.
· Build and maintain a robust network with local hotel concierges, front desk managers and key decision makers
· Continuously evaluate partnership performance and optimization based on revenue impact, guest experience, and brand alignment.
Field Team Leadership
· Hire, train, and manage a field engagement team responsible for promoting and selling tickets on-site and in-market.
· Daily in person check-ins with the field team at their field locations to conduct coaching sessions with the team to diagnose challenges, refine techniques and accelerate results.
· Work with Director of Finance, Revenue Manager and General Manager to develop commission structure for ticket sales, ticket goals, ticket revenue.
· Develop tailored pitches and engagement strategies for key audiences, including convention attendees, tourists, business travelers, and local residents.
· Schedule and deploy the team based on traffic patterns, events, conventions, and demand drivers.
· Ensure consistent brand representation, messaging, and guest experience standards.
· Conduct coaching sessions in the field with the team to diagnose challenges, refine techniques and accelerate results
Market Activation & Presence
· Work with Marketing to identify high-impact locations, moments, and events for on-the-ground engagement.
· Lead activations tied to seasonal peaks, conventions, special events, and foot traffic surges.
· Serve as the primary brand ambassador for View Boston within the surrounding district and partner locations.
· Ideate and oversee dynamic kiosk activations, creating talking points, engagement flows, and messaging frameworks that equip field ambassadors to deliver consistent, on-brand guest experiences.
Performance & Optimization
· Define KPIs to measure partnership effectiveness and field team sales performance.
· Track and report results by partner, location, audience segment, and activation @type.
· Work with Revenue Manager, Director of Sales, Director of Finance and General Manager to refine staffing plans, messaging, offers, and program design.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner closely with Marketing and Revenue Management to align offers, messaging, and campaigns.
· Coordinate activations with seasonal programming and experiences within the attraction.
· Work with Revenue Manager, Director of Finance and General Manager to align pricing, discounts, and referral economics.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
· Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple partnerships and activations simultaneously.
· Data-driven mindset with experience tracking performance and optimizing programs.
· Comfortable working flexible hours aligned with events, conventions, and peak visitation periods.
Education and/or Experience:
· 3+ years of experience in partnerships, field marketing, local sales, or experiential marketing (attractions, hospitality, tourism, or entertainment preferred).
· An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
· Proven experience managing teams in customer-facing or field-based environments.
Skills and Abilities:
· Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
· Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
· Ability to work long and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Ability to work under limited supervision, and interact with all levels of staff, including management.
