Where You Will Work
Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace. We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.
The Job:
As a Manufacturing Engineer I here, you'll be part of our engineering team working as an onsite employee...develops, evaluates and enhances manufacturing methods for aerospace machined components, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, lean principles, assembly methods and quality control standards. You'll get to:
Support manufacturing processes to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
Assist with creating and maintaining work instructions, routers, and standard operating procedures
Support process changes, validations and shop-floor improvements
Participating in NPI, FAI, and Continuous Improvement Projects
Collects and analyzes basic manufacturing data (cycle time, scrap rate, yield)
Reviews and implements manufacturing drawing and engineering change notices
Support Cost-Reduction and Efficiency initiatives
Participates in PFMEA, Process Capability, and RCCA studies
The Person:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on applicable experience
Minimum 1+ years of engineering experience.
Basic Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite products, and strong knowledge of Solidworks or other modeling software.
Knowledge of CNC manufacturing & aerospace standards, AS9100, GD&T, fixturing and gaging methods.
Experience in metal manufacturing, especially using titanium and/or nickel based superalloys.
Statistical process control experience in the aerospace industry a plus

The base pay range for this position in California is $66,000.00 - $92,400.00 USD per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
