Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Forest Hills, New York. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication across the organization. This is a long-term contract position within a non-profit environment, offering an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while developing your skills.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain schedules, including coordinating meetings and appointments to ensure efficient time management.

Answer and direct inbound calls, providing accurate information and assistance.

Support administrative office tasks such as organizing files, preparing documents, and maintaining records.

Handle calendar management tasks, ensuring schedules are up-to-date and conflicts are resolved promptly.

Prepare and distribute meeting notes to facilitate effective communication and follow-up actions.

Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, ensuring all details are executed seamlessly.

Provide general administrative assistance to support team members and organizational goals.

Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping for various administrative functions.

Collaborate with colleagues to improve office processes and workflows.

Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative support or a related field.

Proficiency in managing calendars and coordinating meetings effectively.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and stakeholders.

Familiarity with answering inbound calls and providing attentive assistance.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Proficiency in basic office software and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite. TalentMatch®
