Industry experience utilizing data pipelines (SQL), statistical analysis, and visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik) to achieve business objectives.
Experience managing high-level technical projects and influencing cross-functional partners.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, specifically the skill to convey complex technical findings as actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Google's Trust and Safety team protects users and partners from abuse across products like Search, Gmail, Maps, and Ads. By combining technical expertise with user insights, team members address challenges to ensure ecosystem integrity.
Protecting the experience of partners in more than 40 languages is a priority. We defend Google's integrity by developing product policies and combating fraud, spam, and abuse. This involves collaborating with Legal, Engineering, and Public Policy teams to create scalable solutions. Driven by safety, team members use technical know how to maintain user trust.
In this role, you will design metrics to support Trust and Safety for Search, Ads, Shopping, and YouTube. You will ensure stakeholders have the data needed for business decisions and lead the development of predictive analytics and segmentation models for user experience strategies. Working with Product Managers and Data Engineers, you will transform data into actionable insights to meet user needs, enhance satisfaction, and decrease escalations. You will manage complex, end-to-end projects with excellence. We need someone with strong communication and investigative skills, with a track record of converting technical data into business narratives and strategic initiatives.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
Acquire an understanding of product, Trust and Safety manual and automated processes, tools and customer expectations and design and develop scalable measurements to support reporting needs.
Manage the full life-cycle of complex data projects, from initial requirement gathering and data collection to analysis and the delivery of strategic presentations.
Design and implement scalable analysis pipelines to uncover actionable insights. Gain expertise in Google's data architecture and influence metric improvements to support both product growth and abuse prevention efforts.
Collaborate with and influence business and engineering stakeholders to ensure our data is telling the right story and is helping stakeholders make data backed decisions.
Work collaboratively with teammates around the globe and deliver projects from end-to-end. Present your findings and business recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders and leadership teams.
