Logistics Associate - Entry-Level

Join a team dedicated to managing the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure. We are seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to fill the role of Logistics Associate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained for build and repair activities.

Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check out parts to Datacenter Technicians and Engineers.

Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations.

Frequently lift materials and products.

Maintain precise records of all commodities entering and leaving the company.

Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.

Essential Skills

0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read and follow directions in English.

Capability to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances.

Willingness and ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.

Comfortable working in a noisy environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with inventory management systems.

Understanding of inventory control methodology.

Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Demonstrated positive work attitude and leadership skills.

Work Environment

The position requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods. Work is generally conducted in an office environment with low to moderate noise levels, but occasionally in a warehouse environment where noise can be loud. The temperature in the work area ranges between 60 and 90 degrees and may occasionally exceed 90 degrees. The role involves working with or around moving mechanical parts, and there may be exposure to extreme cold or hot weather when assisting with loading and unloading shipments.

This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
