Minimum Qualifications
Five years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 hours, which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
· Provide comprehensive administrative support to the LDH Secretary and executive staff, including the Chief of Staff, Confidential Assistant, Deputy Secretary, and Undersecretary.
· Manage daily office operations such as maintaining files and databases, handling correspondence and mail, coordinating travel, scheduling meetings and conferences, and managing the department's multi-line telephone system.
· Oversee payroll processing for the Office of the Secretary and act as procurement coordinator by creating purchase orders, monitoring vendor payments, reconciling reports, and managing purchase and travel card accounts.
· Serve as the property and supply coordinator by managing inventory and property records, ordering office supplies, and maintaining central office equipment like copy, scan, and fax machines.
· Act as the primary liaison by responding to inquiries from the Governor's Office, legislators, public officials, special interest groups, and LDH staff; track and manage incoming correspondence and perform necessary research to provide accurate responses.
