Controls Service Account Manager

Job Description

Day to day:

Drive revenue through consultative sales of BAS services, remote monitoring, AI analytics, and smart-building solutions.

Identify customer needs, present ROI-focused proposals, and lead digital transformation from legacy to modern BAS.

Grow market presence through outreach, upgrades, retrofits, and competitor-system migrations.

Sell service contracts: remote diagnostics, cloud monitoring, AI analytics, preventive maintenance, and on-site staffing.

Manage and expand accounts; coordinate BAS, HVAC retrofits, and mechanical service offerings.

Advise customers on performance improvement, energy reduction, and operational optimization.

Skills and Requirements

Must haves:

5+ years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, smart-building technology, or related technical industries.

Proven success in consultative, solution-oriented selling, ideally involving remote monitoring, digital services, or AI-driven platforms.

Strong understanding of BAS, control theory, energy management, and emerging intelligent building technologies.

Ability to interpret building plans, specifications, and technical requirements.

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel regionally as required.
