Overview

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the National Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and executing the national sales strategy for SHARP's key retail accounts. This role owns sales performance, product placement, forecasting, and promotional execution while building and maintaining strong executive-level relationships with assigned national customers.

This position is responsible for leading new product introductions, developing joint business plans, delivering customer presentations, and collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance to achieve sales objectives.

This position is responsible for managing relationships with key national accounts, including The Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, all Military Exchanges and others as assigned. The position is home office based within the Atlanta, GA area.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a sales and marketing plan to achieve and exceed assigned sales budgets.

Achieve territory sales budget and fiscal quota across product categories.

Provide accurate product forecasting by account and week, aligned with the sales budget.

Travel to key accounts to present SHARP product lines and consult on sales strategies.

Develop, communicate, and manage the performance of specific account sales revenue goals.

Leverage customer, industry, and internal sales data to drive performance and maintain a competitive advantage.

Lead client engagements and manage relationships at the C-Suite and middle management levels for large national accounts.

Share relevant customer insights and reporting operations internally.

Collaborate with product marketing to achieve SKU product placement.

Partner with marketing communications and promotions to develop sell-thru programs and meet weekly/monthly sales targets.

Attend PSI meetings and report on previous month's sales, inventory, and future needs.

Manage an APO forecast for all product categories.

Develop and manage a market development fund budget to maximize sales and ROI.

Ensure effective time and territory management, including attending multiple daily department meetings.

Maintain daily and weekly communication through written reports, videos, and mobile engagements with internal departments.

Demonstrate strong leadership, integrity, and people-management skills.

Motivate and inspire the team to achieve organizational goals.

Work collaboratively within a team-focused, matrixed environment.

Consistently achieve profitable results aligned with SHARP Appliances' core mission.

Analyze information and provide insightful solutions to problems and opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, sales, management, or equivalent experience.

Minimum five years of experience in consumer electronics and/or appliance sales, with national account responsibility.

Proven track record managing $20-$40M+ in annual sales revenue.

Strong background in account planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, and performance tracking.

Demonstrated ability to negotiate, present, and influence senior customer leadership.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

High level of professionalism, integrity, energy, and execution focus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

TRAVEL: 30% - 35% travel, domestic and potential international travel to Japan

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $83,600-$115,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
