Education / Training:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field of study required.
5+ years of experience in inventory control and/or management.
3+ years' experience managing the work of others.

Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements.
Manages Shipping, Receiving, General Stores, Supplier Planning and Expediting, Remanufacturing Materials Management, and SAP analysis for Materials Management.
Monitors and assists with achieving Actual Perpetual Inventory levels in line with Budgeted Inventory levels.
Develops and maintains processes at the MSB & Engine Plant to meet or exceed; Inventory Accuracy Goals and ensure that all Cycle Counts are completed within the fiscal year.
Monitors and develop processes to meet the On-Time-Delivery Goals (OTD).
Monitors, controls and publishes inventory reports.
Coordinates work with the traffic activity.
Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards.
Participates in selection of employees.
Trains develops and evaluates employees.
Resolves very unusual or extremely difficult problems.
Directs the preparation of complex projects.
Coordinates with other departments to insure smooth flow of material and budgets.
Makes presentations to all levels of management.
Assists in the development of departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
High level of oral and written communications skills.
Demonstrated planning and organizational ability.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and plant objectives, as well as scheduling and inventory control systems.
Extremely high level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and extremely difficult.
Very high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others motivate employees and elicit work output.
Experience forecasting and budgeting.
Experience and knowledge of purchasing process.
Experience using SAP or other related software.
Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication skills required.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail.
Microsoft Office skills required
Essential and Physical Activities Functions:
Strength - Position requires lifting of 50lbs. Requires stamina and strength to work in tight and confined
spaces while installing or repair machinery and components.
Motion - Position requires standing the majority of the day. Frequent walking, squatting, kneeling, and
climbing of steps and stairs.
Vision/Hearing Requirements - Exposed to high levels of noise and vibration from using tools. Position is
exposed to cutting torches and welding operations. The use of proper PPE is required. The Position
requires the ability to read QWI and schematics and understand instructions.
Work Environment - Position can be located inside or outside, dependent on situation. When inside, the
employees are subject to temperature extremes in non-temperature-controlled environments. When
outside employees are subject to all weather elements. Employees will work with oils and other
lubricants.
Emotional Demands - Expected to work and cooperate as part of team in order to meet production
requirements.
Safety - Position is safety sensitive, as it requires working in and around live tracks and operation and
repair of heavy equipment. Position requires strict adherence to safety policies (i.e., blue flag) and use of
all PPE.
