Summary This position is located at Fort Knox DoDEA Family Member School Lunch Program. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Army NAF pay setting rules apply to this vacancy. Responsibilities Performs a variety of clerical and administrative functions in support of the organization to which assigned. Receives phone calls and visitors. Answers routine inquiries or refers to appropriate staff members. Provides administrative support including typing/word processing, mail preparation, copying, and distribution. Using office automation equipment and word processing software, prepares a variety of correspondence, memorandums, briefings and other reports required for day-to-day operation. Utilizes email to transmit, receive, and respond to email messages. Receives and prepares telephonic, verbal and written work order requests for phone and facility related issues and forwards for appropriate action. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Basic computer skills, and clerical or administrative work experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties as described above. 2. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Power Point, Excel, and other software as required. Must be able to @type 40 wpm. 3. Knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation and composition techniques needed to accurately @type a variety of material from written sources or voice recordings. 4. Possess the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Education This job does not have an education qualification requirement. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
