Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the ASSISTANT SECRETARY OF THE NAVY (ASN). Responsibilities You will provide subject matter expertise and leadership in the design, development, and execution of advanced analytics, reporting, and decision-support solutions across the enterprise. You will lead the development and execution of enterprise analytics strategy to improve financial data transparency and increase effective, data-driven decisions for critical SECNAV initiatives, such as audit and systems transformation. You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provide recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. You will inform and advise leadership on trends and anomalies translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. You will lead a team of data scientists and data engineers to design and deploy dashboards, models, and various financial analytical products using business intelligence and data visualization tools. You will lead cross-functional teams and working groups with financial management subject matter experts to problem-solve and deliver high-impact analytics initiatives. You will monitor project performance, milestones, and risks, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with mission priorities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience leading teams of data scientists and engineers responsible for delivering artificial intelligence and data analytic products. Experience managing a portfolio of analytic products that provide data-driven solutions for complex, enterprise-wide financial initiatives. Experience with developing and implementing modernized technology solutions for Financial Management.
