Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Dickinson, Texas. This is a contract-to-permanent position that requires a detail-oriented individual with strong billing expertise and a proactive approach to managing financial tasks. The role will be entirely on-site, offering a casual work environment where collaboration and accuracy are key.

Responsibilities:

Manage billing processes across multiple client portals with precision and efficiency.

Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate action.

Handle collections activities to ensure timely receipt of payments.

Collaborate with team members to streamline accounts receivable operations and improve workflows.

Train on billing procedures and systems to maintain consistency and accuracy.

Maintain detailed records of financial transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.

Communicate effectively with clients to address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Utilize software tools, such as Viewpoint Spectrum, to support billing and accounts receivable tasks.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations in all processes.

Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive team environment. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, particularly in billing and collections.

Ability to work on-site in Dickinson, Texas.

Proficiency in managing aging reports and resolving overdue accounts.

Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

Familiarity with software tools, such as Viewpoint Spectrum, is a plus but not required.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to handle financial records.

Ability to adapt and learn new billing portals and procedures.

Commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance in all financial tasks.
