Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Pasadena, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity, offering the chance to grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of accounts payable tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices, expense reports, and payments.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices from intake to posting, ensuring timely routing and approvals.

Review and verify expense reports, reconciling month-end accruals as needed.

Manage account coding and ensure accurate classification of financial transactions.

Handle automated clearing house (ACH) payments and execute check runs with precision.

Maintain organized records of accounts payable transactions for audit purposes.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and inquiries related to payments.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all AP processes.

Assist in preparing reports and summaries related to accounts payable activities.

Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Provide timely responses to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with vendors. Requirements - At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

Strong knowledge of account coding and invoice processing.

Proficiency in managing ACH payments and executing check runs.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Effective communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal teams.

Familiarity with accounting software and tools.

Commitment to maintaining accuracy and compliance in financial processes.
