Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Santa Fe, NM.

The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.

Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Saturday 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.

Required overtime as needed.

Hourly Pay: $17.75/hr

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.?Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. Job Responsibilities:

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas

Accurately identify and label specimens?

Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities?

Meet department activity and production goals

Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples?

Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner?

Resolve and document any problem specimens

Requirements :

High School Diploma or equivalent

Comfortable handling biological specimens?

Ability to accurately identify specimens?

Experience working in a team environment?

Strong data entry and organizational skills

High level of attention to detail

Proficiency in MS Office?

Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

Ability to pass a standardized color-blind test

Preferred Experience:

1-2 years of prior clinical/lab experience

Previous experience in production or manufacturing
