Retail Associate

Our client, a retail industry leader, is seeking a Retail Associate to join their team. As a Retail Associate, you will be part of the retail support team supporting customer service and store operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly attitude, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Retail Associate

Location: Elkridge, MD

Pay Range: $16 per hour

Shift: Part-time: 3-4 days per week, including Tuesdays, Fridays, every other Saturday, and possibly Thursdays

What's the Job?

Greet customers warmly and respond to product inquiries to create a positive shopping experience.

Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.

Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and ensure smooth checkout processes.

Assist with inventory management by processing shipments and monitoring stock levels.

What's Needed?

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
