Overview

Position Summary:

Primary responsibility for following established procedures and guidelines to accurately maintain the organization's financial records and transactions.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Adhere to company practices, policies, and procedures.

Evaluate transactions and record to the general ledger.

Collect and compile simple financial information and assist accounting team to prepare accurate and timely financial reports and accounting statements for senior management.

Variance analysis and account reconciliation.

Preparation of ad hoc, monthly, and quarterly reports.

Prepare in-depth analysis on rental revenue and GL account reconciliations. Analyze transactions by comparing historic trending and current year budget to actual results.

Assist in cash application and billing support.

Other duties assigned.

What we're looking for

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understand accounting principles.

Attention to detail.

Work collaboratively in a team environment.

Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in standardized and non-standardized situations.

Agility to respond to inquiries from employees and management.

Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

JD Edwards One World and Navision a plus.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to effectively and professionally present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to work with a variety of mathematical concepts.

Ability to work independently.
