What you'll do...
Financial Acumen Possesses knowledge of: Relevant financial and business management terminology, metrics, and key performance indicators; drivers of shareholder value; industry-specific trends and best practices in finance; financial challenges due to environmental, industry, and economic factors and impacts on strategy, organizational plans, and stakeholders. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Understands the drivers of the financial metrics that impact the business and impacts of drivers on business results. Performs analyses based on independent reasoning to draw appropriate conclusions. Analyzes business and financial data and supports the implementation and tracking of business plans that enable the attainment of financial goals. Communicates the results of analyses to diverse audiences. Understands the impact of factors and trends that may affect financial performance. Influential Communication Possesses knowledge of: Verbal/nonverbal behaviors; application and allocation of business communication styles/techniques in ambiguous and challenging situations; situational awareness; communication channels/mediums; interpersonal skills and universal relationship building. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Organizes thoughts and communicate credibly and concisely in an interdivisional/interdepartmental setup. Presents to and influences team members, customers, and clients, conveying complex information clearly and accurately and addressing ambiguity in a constructive manner. Independently assembles and prepares reports/materials/storylines that have a structure and logical flow and are based on relevant, fact-based information. Accounting Possesses knowledge of: Accounting practices and procedures; cost monitoring practices; accounting systems; accounts receivable and accounts payable practices. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Follows regulations for entering and reporting financial content in major accounting systems. Works with financial transactions and related documentation within the organization. Documents current accounting practices and closing cycle procedures and requirements and maintains existing charts of accounts. Participates in the classifying and recording of financial data. Utilizes cost monitoring practices, techniques, and considerations. Prepares purchase orders, invoices, receipts, debits, credits, and adjustments. Processes accounts payable transactions. Data Gathering and Analysis Possesses knowledge of: Data collection processes and standards; data analysis techniques; data reporting tools. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Employs basic data collection and analysis methods and procedures. Examines analytical results to ensure the quality and accuracy of data gathering and analysis. Contributes to the collection and analysis of data for certain Health & Wellness activities. Follows data collection and analysis methodologies and processes. Informs leadership of any difficulties that arise throughout the data collection process. Reporting Possesses knowledge of: Report resources; report formats; reporting tools. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Participates in projects to gather data for needs analysis. Detects and summarizes patterns in data and findings by producing simple reports. Customizes data fields to meet business and stakeholder needs. Assesses common problems and obstacles surrounding data gathering. Interprets and explains the results of data gathering initiatives. Business Analytics Possesses knowledge of: Data analysis techniques and tools; business performance metrics and standards; trend analysis processes. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Maintains and organizes data business-related data. Establishes performance measures to analyze business trends and operations. Conducts company data research and generates and understands basic analytics. Assists in the creation of charts, graphs, tables, and other tools to demonstrate business performance. Recognizes and assesses current business risks, opportunities, and approaches for improving performance. Data Verification Possesses knowledge of: Internal and external data sources; research techniques and practices; data quality standards. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Assists in specifying which information needs to be verified. Uses organization-specific sources for researching information. Documents the implications of publishing erroneous or unconfirmed information. Discusses common research or verification problems and documents corresponding solutions. Participates in researching and verifying facts and figures. Risk Management Possesses knowledge of: Risk management practices; risk models; risk management tools. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Produces and interprets common risk assessment and management reports. Identifies common technology, security, or financial risks relevant to Health & Wellness accounting activities. Evaluates risk assessment models and techniques relevant to Health & Wellness accounting activities. Documents the key steps of unit-specific risk management processes and procedures. Implements or manages risk management processes and procedures. Insurance Processing Possesses knowledge of: Insurance compliance policies; common insurance processing issues and solutions. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Resolves medication and insurance issues by processing insurance rejection claims and coordinating insurance billing issues (for example, third-party prescriptions). Communicates with customers and physicians to relay issues and concerns and insurance carriers to resolve rejections. Follows up on outstanding insurance and billing issues. Follows administrative processes to ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations. Escalates potential compliance issues to leadership. The annual salary range for this position is $64,000.00 - $96,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
