As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge repair solutions. Your strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies will ensure that the product repairs developed under your leadership meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

In this role, you will impact the mechanical design process by leading and driving the development of innovative repair solutions. Your insights and recommendations will help drive the company's direction in mechanical repair strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Support production improvement projects to impact both product Turn-Around-Time and Cost.

Lead and drive the repair development process, from concept to implementation by designing and developing repairs for complex mechanical systems, components, and assemblies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications for product repair as well as to substantiate repairs under development.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

6 years of experience in manufacturing or mechanical design and development.

Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.

Experience with product testing and validation processes.

Experience working in a production environment.

WE VALUE

Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering).

Experience in aerospace or related industries.

Proven track record of successful mechanical design projects.

Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.

Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.

The annual base salary range for this position in Minneapolis, MN is $72,900 - $87,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
