Job Title: Part Time Admin Role 1st shift

Job Description

This role is pivotal in executing warehouse-based operational initiatives, enhancing safety awareness, and fostering team-member engagement to create a productive and inclusive work environment. The specialist collaborates with supervisors, leads, and associates across all shifts to support daily operations, reinforce standard work, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution. By staying deeply connected to warehouse workflows-receiving, picking, packing, shipping, equipment use, and safety practices-this role is integral to the success of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Drive the execution of warehouse operational initiatives.

Enhance safety awareness and promote a safe working environment.

Engage team members in activities that strengthen productivity and inclusivity.

Collaborate with supervisors, leads, and associates to support daily operations.

Reinforce standard work and ensure consistent, high-quality execution.

Stay connected to warehouse workflows such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.

Ensure proper use of equipment and adherence to safety practices.

Essential Skills

Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office.

Experience in inventory control, shipping, and receiving.

Ability to load/unload trucks safely.

Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, or reach trucks (certification is a plus).

Knowledge of warehouse layout, staging, and inventory flow.

Understanding of packaging, labeling, and palletizing standards.

Strong attention to detail with packing slips, BOLs, and invoices.

Experience with WMS or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or accuracy.

Capability to verify counts, lot numbers, and product codes.

Maintain organized records of shipments, receipts, and inventory adjustments.

Understanding of FIFO, LIFO, or FEFO depending on the industry.

Familiarity with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, LTL, and freight.

Ability to create shipping labels and prepare BOLs.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Carrollton, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
