Position Summary

Reporting directly into the Performance Food Group leadership, the Director of Corporate Accounting will provide leadership over Core-Mark's consolidated close, financial reporting, and technical accounting functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the integrity, consistency, and transparency of the company's financial results within a complex, multi-entity operating environment.

You will partner closely with senior leaders within Core-Mark and Performance Food Group to strengthen reporting processes, uphold accounting standards, and support the company's continued growth. This is a highly visible role that offers meaningful influence, exposure to the executive team, and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across corporate accounting.

This role is an in-office-based role in Core-Mark headquarters in Westlake, TX (Dallas-Fort Worth area).

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for facilitating month end close.

· Reviewing Balance Sheet consolidations, including adjusting and re-classifying entries.

· Responsible for reviewing monthly allocations and accounting and reporting related to benefits.

· Responsible for the financial systems team and actively guide and participate in financial system enhancements, testing and deployments to ensure business needs are met timely.

· Responsible for corporate accounting teams to include intercompany cash, benefits, fixed assets, and lease accounting.

· Oversight of the technical accounting for new transactions, contracts and agreements.

· Responsible for the development and maintenance of account analysis/reconciliation process.

· Ensure that all account analysis/reconciliation procedures comply with GAAP.

· Responsible for the monthly review of financial results and variance analysis as compared to goal, last year, year-end and prior quarter and resolution of all outstanding issues.

· Responsible for the coordination of Quarterly reviews, Interim and year-end audit test work conducted by our external auditors.

· Manage and develop a team of talented accounting associates.

· Ensure internal controls are functioning as intended.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

· Must have at least 5 years of managerial accounting experience with a publicly traded, medium-to-large size organizations.
