As a Security Officer - Community Patrol Driver in Asheville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine rounds, stay visibly present to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in the job state. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or access requirements at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report information to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.

Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.

Monitor access points and security-related systems as assigned, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and assist with traffic flow and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.

Complete timely documentation such as shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and follow-up needs to oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
