We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Gettysburg , PA.

What you can expect at your practice:

Opportunity to join an established Orthopedic team

Assisting with office visits, as well as surgeries and hospital consults

M-F 8-4:30 in-office schedule

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or

Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required

Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:

1 year Required

Licenses:

Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or

Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and

Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and

Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and

Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or

Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required

Established in 1800, Adams County includes the borough of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Home to more than 100,000 residents, the town is a mecca for Civil War history buffs and visitors who come to tour the Gettysburg National Battlefield and Gettysburg National Military Park and see the annual Civil War reenactment.

Also located here is Gettysburg College, which has a strong academic reputation in liberal arts. The county is steeped in heritage, and offers a peaceful, country atmosphere, yet is a convenient drive to Washington, D.C., Baltimore, MD and Harrisburg, PA. The area's diversity attracts a lively local music scene and is home to numerous restaurants and wineries, fresh-produce markets, a ski resort and more.
