Job Summary
The PACCAR Powertrain Marketing team is seeking a highly creative and motivated Summer Intern to support multimedia content development and broader marketing initiatives for the Global PACCAR Powertrain organization. This internship offers meaningful, hands-on corporate experience, helping you build your skills while contributing to high-visibility projects.
You will work closely with marketing managers, content creators, and cross-functional partners to support photography, videography, social media, and visual storytelling projects.
What to Expect
Location: PACCAR Technical Center, Mount Vernon, WA
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), in person
Duration: Minimum 12 weeks
Start Date: June 22, 2026

Key Responsibilities
You will support multimedia and marketing initiatives including:
Assist in creating multimedia assets including photography, video, graphics, and simple animations
Support on-set activities during photo and video shoots (e.g., equipment support, lighting, shot setup)
Edit and prepare content for social media, internal communications, and campaigns
Participate in brainstorming sessions focused on creative concepts and messaging
Support digital asset management and content organization within Canto
Help maintain and update a social media content calendar using Smartsheet
Contribute fresh, creative ideas to strengthen brand presence and audience engagement
Coordinate with teammates to keep projects organized, on track, and aligned with brand standards

Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field, or currently enrolled in a Master's program
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud tools for creative work (photo, video, and/or design)
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices
Basic knowledge of composition, design principles, and visual storytelling
Coursework or experience related to marketing, content creation, or creative production
Intermediate video editing and basic photo retouching skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with digital cameras and basic production equipment
Comfort working with lighting and basic on-set production processes
Experience organizing creative files and workflows (e.g., digital asset management concepts)

Pay range: $25.00 - $30.00/hour (pay varies by undergraduate and graduate degree)
