We are looking for:
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring performance to established safety, quality, cost and productivity standards and best practices through engagement and involvement of unit employees. In addition, they will lead the continuous improvement process to optimize safety, quality and productivity within and across units and processes through manufacturing excellence and best practice approaches.
We count on you for:
Day To Day Operations:
Provides visible Safety leadership and involves the whole team in improvement activities to grow skills, increase engagement, and positively impact the Culture of the site.
Ensure resources are adequate to meet plan (Right people in the right role at the right time)
Lead the Unit Operations Teams.
Communicate and reinforce expectations.
Monitor performance and take corrective actions to ensure compliance with HSE and Quality and best practices and productivity targets by executing the performance management process. (i.e. HSE leading indicators, Exposure Based Safety, RCAs.)
Drive meaningful year-over-year improvement via increasing employee engagement, enhancing training and implementing continuous improvement tools, such as lean, six sigma, etc.
Manage the cost of the departments within budget
Lead in the development of unit operating plans (KPIs, Labor Plan, Budget etc.) and action plans to align and deliver to the site and business objectives.
Support cross functional, plant-wide improvement initiatives (i.e. Exposure Based Safety, PHA improvements, etc.)
Training:
Ensure team members are qualified and capable of meeting expectations. This includes ensuring Supervisors, shift team leaders and area operators have been properly trained and understand HSE, Quality, Productivity and Continuous Improvement processes.
Goal Setting and Performance:
Accountable for ensuring site and business Goals and Objectives are appropriately cascaded through operations with clear action plans.
Create and ensure Unit goals are identified and aligned with operations KPIs and Objectives
Ensure Site and Unit goals are communicated to the operations' employees including, Unit Managers, Supervisors, Production Engineers and operators.
Shift Team Leader goals are aligned to the shift and unit's performance
Accountable for holding team members accountable for their performance, including taking appropriate corrective action and disciplinary action if performance or behavior is not sustained.

You will bring:
Bachelor of Science, Engineering or equivalent relevant experience is preferred
Minimum 8 years manufacturing/ engineering leadership role
An obvious history of roles that clearly demonstrate successful Team Leadership, Problem Solving, Lean Improvement and business results
Clear understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles with demonstrated utilization and significant results
Leadership of continuous improvement team initiative with significant results
Leadership of Six-sigma problem solving and Root Cause Analysis team initiatives with significant results
You will get:
Competitive salary and benefits package
The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $144,800 to $181,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, such as skills, experience, qualifications, etc. and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. NOTE: Language to be added for Cadre population only: Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
