Ready to be part of an excellent fiscal team? Nevada County Community Development Agency (CDA) is looking for an organized individual with accounting skills to fill the position of Administrative Analyst I. This position is an integral part of the Agency's fiscal and administrative team who supports 7 departments and over 16 programs responsible for budget preparation, fiscal oversight, contract administration and monitoring, grant fiscal management, and special projects and studies!
Major duties include:
Perform technical financial or statistical record keeping and auditing of financial records and operations
Develop several departmental budgets and maintain an accurate accounting of departmental expenditures and revenues.
Apply and implement County, State and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure accounts are maintained appropriately.
Review, verify and process accounting records.
Track project and/or grant funds, prepare claims and reports
Generate bills, journal entries and other accounting documents
Prepare periodic analysis, special reports and correspondence.
Supervise technical and support staff

Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university, and one year of experience in administrative, budget or personnel analysis, preferably in a public agency.
Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year for year basis to a maximum of two years.

Retirement
