LPN/LVN Psychiatric - State Hospital Colorado - $1,966/wk 36hrs

The Psychiatric or Mental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unit of a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsible for care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

Current LPN license in state of assignment

1 year experience in a psychiatric care setting preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

?? Schedule: 36 hours/week 3x12's

?? Shift: Days and Nights needed - 3 shifts/week,

?? Start Date: March 16

?? Contract Length: 26 weeks (with potential to extend)

?? Weekly Gross Pay: $1,966/week

?? Pay Package Breakdown:

Total Weekly Gross: $1,966/week

Untaxed Housing Stipend: $770/week

Untaxed Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $476/week

Hourly Rate (Taxable): $20/hour

Overtime Rate: $53/hour

All stipends are compliant with GSA guidelines and IRS tax-free requirements for travelers.

? Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience Psychiatric state Hospital or Behavioral hospital preferred

Active LPN license (Colorado or compact state)

BLS certification required

Strong communication, de-escalation, and patient observation skills
