The LSS LED Construction Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the new installation and assist with maintenance of outdoor lighting infrastructure within the Mobile Division. The LED Construction Coordinator will prioritize, issue and coordinate the new installation of overhead and underground outdoor lighting assets throughout the Mobile Division. The LED Construction Coordinator will ensure the installation is constructed to Alabama Power Company Construction Specifications using auditors and regular job inspections. The LED Coordinator will also prioritize quality control, ensuring our customers receive a superior LED Lighting product. Additionally, the Construction Coordinator is responsible for the prompt and accurate billing of LSS LED jobs.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee work needed to ensure lighting infrastructure is in operating order and installed/converted to NESC guidelines and APC specifications
Coordinate with Power Delivery (Distribution/Network UD) personnel for assistance (when necessary) to provide/reroute feeders from distribution facilities
Lead/Set safety expectations and resolve issues in an appropriate and timely manner
Sets clear expectations and provides ongoing feedback to Contractors and APC Employees
Ensure that installation policies and repair policies, procedures, and guidelines are followed, evaluated, and edited semi-annually to meet the needs of customers
Ensure quality control measures are in place to provide better customer service
Review/Approve data in LAMP, data in ARMS, and payment of invoices in CAMP
Support the business unit's strategic execution of CAP/O&M spending
Communicate changes for installing and maintaining lighting systems and code specifications.
Point of contact on escalations and respond to customer issues as necessary
Prioritizes work to ensure the safe and appropriate use of assigned resources.
Ensures work complete on time and within budgetary guidelines.
Prepares, reviews, and approves time, expense, materials, and other company records in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines.
Demonstrates a customer-first attitude.
Seeks to quickly resolve customer issues by collaborating with employees and other departments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electric distribution system design and construction.
Experience with Outdoor Lighting installation & maintenance and construction desired
Experience with Contract administration and execution is a plus
Experience with LAMP, ARMS, & CAMP desired
Understanding of Capital and O&M budgets preferred
Cross-functional or cross-company experience is a plus
Strong experience with project scheduling to meet commitment dates and maximize resources
Experience with NESC lighting system design, installation, and maintenance preferred.
Working experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
