Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This Contract to permanent position requires expertise in insurance defense and construction litigation, offering an opportunity to contribute to complex legal cases. While the role is primarily remote, occasional in-office work may be required.

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough discovery processes, ensuring all relevant information is collected and organized.

Prepare for trials by managing exhibits, drafting motions, and coordinating case documentation.

Utilize case management software to track and manage case progress effectively.

Draft legal documents, including motions, correspondence, and trial-related materials.

Handle e-filing and dictation tasks with precision and efficiency.

Collaborate with attorneys to support litigation strategies in insurance defense and construction defect cases.

Maintain accurate billing records using Prolaw or similar software.

Assist in reviewing and preparing trial exhibits to ensure readiness for court.

Organize and manage case files to maintain accessibility and compliance with legal standards.

Provide administrative support as needed to facilitate smooth case proceedings. Requirements - Must be a registered paralegal with substantial experience in Florida law.

Proficient in insurance defense and construction litigation practices.

Skilled in discovery, trial preparation, and drafting motions.

Familiarity with Prolaw or comparable time and billing software.

Experience with e-filing and dictation tasks.

Strong organizational skills to manage case files and meet deadlines.

Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys and legal teams.

Flexibility to work occasional in-office hours as required.
