You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Senior for the Camden team. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing engineering solutions to support production operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for leading the development of tooling and equipment designs, providing engineering support to the production floor, and researching and developing mechanical products and systems. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Developing tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications
Providing engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day-to-day integration processes
Researching, planning, designing, and developing mechanical products and systems
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of manufacturing engineering solutions
Interpreting complex engineering drawings and applying knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
Ability to work in an ordnance facility
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Knowledgeable of machine / tool mechanical design
Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
Proficient with MS Office suite
Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or Solid Works
Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems/equipment used in a Manufacturing Environment
Knowledgeable of engineering materials
Promoting safety practices on the shop floor and eliminating safety risk
Experienced with troubleshooting practices and technics to use solving production issues using failure mode effects and analysis (FMEA), root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions (RC/CA)
Implementing continuous improvement projects using 6S and Lean manufacturing techniques
Customer service skills to communicate to the shop floor and train operators
Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions and Bill of Materials (BoM)
Interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications including Geometric and Dimensional Tolerances (GD&T)
Incorporating configuration changes on existing procedures and verifying alignment with engineering requirements
Designing new tools and maintaining existing tooling/equipment
Project management experience in writing a business case, developing estimates, reporting schedule, and coordinating task between multiple functions.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
