Summary The employee will serve as a Transportation Assistant at the VA St. Louis Health Care System in St. Louis, MO. Responsibilities Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Issue beneficiary travel reimbursement vouchers and process vouchers for payment using the various systems. Preparing and sorting documents for data entry. Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that is inputted. Reconcile travel vouchers against authorizations for accuracy prior to preparing certification for payments. Follow the applicable processes for travel payments in accordance with all beneficiary travel policies. Research and resolve beneficiary travel payment issues. Provide data/information to supervisor for required reports. Maintain professional work relationship with supervisors, colleagues and customers. Perform other duties as assigned.
