Your Responsibilities
As an Engineer in the Cyber Analytics Team you will:
Work alongside our engineers and stakeholders to help design and build scalable data pipelines in AWS using Python, SQL, Airflow, Spark and other cloud native tooling.
Apply knowledge of basic principles, methods and practices to simple and moderately complex assignments.
Productionize Cloud Native Infrastructure and tooling to support scalable data cloud.
Implement standardized, automated operational and quality control processes to deliver accurate and timely data and reporting to meet or exceed SLAs.
You have...
Three or more years of experience in AWS cloud and AWS services such as S3 Buckets, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS queues.
Experience with batch job scheduling and identifying data/job dependencies.
Data engineering experience using AWS platform and Python.
Skills in AWS Services like EC2, S3, Redshift/Spectrum, Glue, Athena, RDS, Lambda, and API gateway.
Familiarity with software DevOps CI/CD tools, such Git, Linux, and Shell Script.
Ability to learn quickly, be organized and detail oriented.
Experience in Software Engineering and Development.
Proficiency in Python and understanding of database schema design.

For Wilmington, DE Only the salary range for this position is USD$90,250.00 - USD$110,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
BlackRock's hybrid work model is designed to enable a culture of collaboration and apprenticeship that enriches the experience of our employees, while supporting flexibility for all. Employees are currently required to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week.
