Summer Intern: Strategy & Artificial Intelligence Integration
Position Overview:
Join a dynamic team under the guidance of the Sector Senior Director of Strategy in supporting priority growth objectives and leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize strategic initiatives. This position offers hands-on experience in corporate strategy, business development, and AI-enabled decision-making in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of growth strategies and goals, ensuring alignment with the Sector's strategic vision.
Utilize AI tools and platforms to perform data analysis, forecast trends, and support decision-making for long-term growth planning and profitability targets.
Analyze and assess future project requirements leveraging AI-based insights to inform strategies for targeting new opportunities.
Collaborate with Sector operations teams to support opportunity identification, capture processes, and proposal development, integrating AI capabilities to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Participate in solution workshops, strategy sessions, and reviews throughout the capture lifecycle, employing AI-driven tools to refine solutions and recommendations.
Support the evaluation and maintenance of the business development pipeline, ensuring data accuracy, reporting integrity, and strategic alignment.
Monitor program performance and Periods of Performance, assisting in the preparation for recompetes by incorporating AI-driven analytics and predictive modeling.
Research and recommend innovative AI tools and applications that can enhance the Sector's strategic and operational initiatives.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Administration, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
Demonstrated interest in strategic planning, business development, and innovative problem-solving.
Experience or coursework in artificial intelligence, data analytics, or machine learning is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to dynamic priorities.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $21.25 - $28.75. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
