We are in search of a highly skilled professional to lead our Data Center Compute Services team located in Dallas, TX. This pivotal role will involve operating in our multiple colocation data center facilities located in that region, including the management of its IT assets, driving projects, ensuring the utmost availability and security of data and systems.

All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across stores, digital channels, and distribution centers.
What you'll do...
Infrastructure Support :
Assisting in the management of the physical IT infrastructure of the data center. This includes helping with the proper installation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of hardware, and maintaining documentation. Site Security Assistance :
Supporting the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect the data center spaces and its systems from unauthorized access and physical damage. This includes assisting with granting and controlling access to the facility and escorting vendors as needed. Availability Support :
Helping ensure the availability of data and systems by supporting network and power redundancy. This includes assisting with the validation of work being performed by internal and external teams. Capacity Monitoring :
Assisting in monitoring the physical capacity of the data center infrastructure to support current and future business needs. This involves helping analyze system performance and plan for equipment upgrades and expansions. Supporting the understanding of contracted power vs. utilized power and ensuring proper load balancing at the rack level. Incident Support :
Assisting in responding to and resolving technical issues and incidents that occur within the data center. This includes helping troubleshoot hardware and software problems, coordinating with vendors and engineers for repairs, and ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize downtime. Team Support :
Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the data center team. This includes taking on assigned tasks, providing support to team members, and staying trained in the latest technologies and best practices. Compliance Assistance :
Supporting the compliance of the data center facility and operations with relevant regulations and standards, such as OSHA, PCI, HIPPA, and other industry-specific regulations. This includes helping maintain documentation, conduct audits, and implementing necessary controls to meet compliance requirements. Budget Support :
Assisting in maintaining accurate budgeting processes, ensuring financial activities align with organizational goals. Supporting the review and validation of invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. Communication Skills :
Assisting with engaging customers directly using strong communication and active listening skills to understand and address their needs effectively, ensuring a positive experience. Supporting the use of multiple communication tools to collaborate with teams across the world.
What you'll bring:
Technical Knowledge :
A successful candidate should have a solid understanding of data center operations, including basic knowledge of servers, networking, and power path/balancing. The candidate should also be familiar with software tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Nlyte, and SharePoint. Proficiency in computer skills including typing, email communication, and Microsoft Office applications is required. Team Collaboration :
A successful candidate should have good teamwork skills to effectively assist and collaborate with their team. They should be able to understand and follow set goals, take on delegated tasks efficiently, and provide support to their team members.
