REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ability to design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems

Experience in developing software using languages such as Java, Python, C++ or Ruby.

Excellent programming skills to ensure the proper interpretation and implementation of code.

Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS,?CloudFormation, etc.), Docker,?Ansible.?

Documented experience with open-source technology, software development and system engineering.

Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery

Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues

Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and cost efficiencies.

Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with customer best practices and guidance.

Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team.?

Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs

Strong understanding of web services, API, REST.

Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team?

DESIRED SKILLS:

Familiar with Assessment & Authorization process and associated artifact collection process

Able to troubleshoot and support COTS and GOTS applications within a Windows/Azure hosted environment

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Location: Herndon, VA

Hours: Contract core hours, 9am - 3pm

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $158,855 - $214,921. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
