Austin Industrial is currently seeking a Fuel Truck Driver A to join our staff located at Catlettsburg, KY. This person will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and independent delivery of petroleum products from multiple loading sites to various customer locations. They will follow all company policies, procedures, and operational standards while supporting Austin Industrial's core vision of zero accidents, zero injuries, and strong environmental stewardship.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct pre-trip inspections in accordance with MPC policies and all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Verify that the tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer meets all operating requirements and that all necessary equipment is present and functioning properly. Document inspections and note any deficiencies on the required pre-trip form.

Operate a tank truck/trailer or tractor/trailer to safely and efficiently transport product, maintaining professional conduct at all times. Comply with all federal, state, and local laws, and follow MPC and site-specific standard operating procedures for loading and unloading.

Perform post-trip inspections in alignment with MPC policy and DOT regulations. Complete all required documentation and ensure equipment is fully prepared for the next shift.

Report all incidents-including safety and environmental concerns-promptly and in accordance with company procedures.

Identify and report any equipment issues in a timely manner.

Consistently follow and uphold all safety rules, operational procedures, and DOT requirements.

The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:

Must be able to drive interstate.

License - Restrictions: Operate manual and/or automatic transmission.

Must maintain a satisfactory driving record and provide consent to company for review of driving record(s).

Must pass required drug and alcohol screening(s).

Must complete DOT physical and maintain current medical card.

Must pass three-year DOT safety background check and seven-year criminal background check.

Must pass pre-trip exam and road test to demonstrate proficiency operating required equipment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required

Meet physical demands as listed above
