Job Overview

Harger now part of TE is looking for their next General Accountant.

The Accountant I provides?timely?and?accurate?record-keeping and reporting for R2R processes, processes the Accounting Department's transactions,?including recording?transactions, preparing?reports,?fact-checking, filing,?maintaining?accounts, resolving discrepancies,?and?performing?other duties as needed.?

**THIS IS AN HOURLY POSITION LOCATED AT THEIR GRAYSLAKE, IL FACILITY

Responsibilities:?**

Accounts Payable - Matches receivers to PO's and invoices, enters accounts payable into system, processes e-Checks, ACH and wires, prepares monthly AP aging??

Accounts Receivable - Enters and applies cash receipts to accounts receivable, prepares monthly AR aging, makes?collection calls, processes credits and billing adjustments?

Records?financial transactions into database; ensures?compliance with processes,?procedures?and policies?

Posts?entries,?verifying?and reconciling input to financial reporting systems.?

Processes complex payments and?assists?in preparation of billings and other financial reports?

What your background should look like

Associates Degree or?Bachelor's degree in?Accounting, Finance, or 2+ years related field?preferred.?

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.?

Advanced math skills.?

Detail-oriented.?

Proficiency?in Microsoft Excel,?Outlook?and Word.?

Familiar with an ERP system.?

Ability to work independently.?

Physical Requirements:?

Position requires sitting for extended periods, bending, walking, talking, and arm and finger movement.?

Work Environment:

Work performed in an office environment.

COMPENSATION

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $56,100($29.98 an hr)- $84,200($40.48 an hr.) (subject to change dependent on physical location) Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
