Job Title: Deburring Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Deburring Technician and production workers

Responsibilities

Set up and operate grinding and related tools to remove excess material or burrs, and sharpen edges or corners of metal work pieces.

Mount and position tools in machine chucks, spindles, or other holding devices using hand tools.

Inspect or measure finished work pieces to ensure they meet specifications, using instruments like gauges or micrometers.

Activate machine start-up switches to grind, lap, deburr, shear, or cut work pieces according to specifications.

Lift and position work pieces manually and secure them in hoppers or on machine tables using clamps.

Measure work pieces and lay out work using precision measuring devices.

Essential Skills

Knowledge of blueprints, engineering specifications, and CNC machines.

Self-motivated and driven to perform at the highest level of quality.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced organization.

1+ years of experience in aircraft manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Aerospace industry knowledge is highly desired.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, and walking regularly.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
