Under the supervision of the Regional Vice President of Sales this position is accountable for sales, market development, and to achieve the profit objectives and market share goals for the Roofing and Siding businesses in conjunction with short and long-range strategies established by the business units.
Manage approximately 12 Territory Managers (TMs) selling Residential Roofing and Siding Products. Provide leadership to, include coaching, training, and the development of Territory Managers. Fiscal Responsibility, manage pricing through the Price FX System to resolve pricing issues / approve pricing in support of business strategy, develop sales plans by territory and expense budgets. Perform market, customers, competitor, and product mix analysis. Manage relations of high level major accounts. Strategic account planning and collaborative development and execution with TM's. Provide monthly sales forecast to senior management team and logistics group in conjunction with working with Product Management and Manufacturing. Plan and organize promotional programs with TM. Manage budget for region as well as TM expense budgets that include T&E. Develop agendas and conduct regional sales meetings.
Responsible for annual sales and profitability targets (may include other goals----product mix, market share, distribution and pricing decisions).
Provide leadership that includes coaching, training and development of TM's.
Strategic account planning and collaborative development with TM's.
Manage relations of high level major accounts.
Escalate and resolve pricing, product, service issues internally.
Analyzes market, customer, and product mix to optimize effectiveness.
Provide sales forecasts monthly to senior management team and logistics group along with manage Regional and TM budget(s) that include T&E
Deliver effective presentations and demonstrations emphasizing customer benefits along with timely feedback to marketing regarding market opportunities, competitive intelligence, product requirements.
Develop agenda and conduct regional sales meetings along with plan and organize promotional programs with TM's to execution and provide close support towards distributor sales efforts.
What do you bring?
Bachelor's Degree Required
10+ years relevant experience required.-
Progressive experience in sales and/or marketing in supporting business strategy and the development of sales plans by territory.
Strong knowledge and demonstrated success selling through distribution channels.
Ability to prioritize and organize. Superior leadership, competitive spirit, and desire to win.
Strong strategic-thinking and decision-making capabilities necessary.
A proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, penetrating new markets and developing new business.
Experience with Hire/Termination decisions with regard to sales personnel.

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $165,500 to $264,500 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 24% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $205,200 to $327,900. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.

This role may also be eligible to participate in the Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program which is awarded annually at management's discretion.
