Applied Materials' Semiconductor Product Group Department is searching for an intern to join our team in summer 2022! [The position is inside SPG strategy group with focus on business analytics. The opening is to address the need in developing SPG market sizing data and dashboard infrastructure]. The position will entail the following:

Analyze revenue, market and share data

Support market share and market sizing data and dashboard infrastructure creation

Data automation with latest IT system and tools

Requirements

Student must be pursuing a Master's degree program in Business Analytics, or a related field

Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

Strong analytical skills

Ability to handle large amount of data and combine information from different sources

Data management, data analytics experience preferred

Strong mathematical and excel modelling skills, Excel VBA is a must

Must be detail oriented

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Quick learner

Team player

Proactive, passionate, curious individual with strong desire to learn and grow

Tableau knowledge and data automation is a plus

Semiconductor knowledge is a plus

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
