Our Marketing Project Manager, HCO & Books
provides essential project coordination, workflow management, quality control, and execution support for the
Sr Manager, Segment Marketing
and the broader Marketing department. The role ensures that campaigns, deliverables, and cross-departmental initiatives for the Health Care Organizations (HCO) and Books Lines of Business are planned in collaboration with department stakeholders, marketing leadership, organized, and completed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned to AORN's strategic objectives.
This position serves as the operational backbone of the HCO and Books marketing function by driving timelines, coordinating asset and campaign element production and publication with creative and digital teams, ensuring alignment with internal clients, monitoring KPIs, and supporting high-quality delivery across all marketing channels. to focus on strategy, segmentation, messaging, and market insights by ensuring smooth execution and strong cross-functional communication and collaboration.

Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns supporting customer growth, engagement, and retention.
Manage project plans, timelines, workflows, budgets, and task assignments across creative, digital, web, analytics, and sales teams.
Serve as the primary operational point of contact for HCO and Books Lines of Business project intake and ensure alignment with quarterly planning set by the Sr Manager, Segment Marketing.
Manage the completion of creative briefs that set forth customer profiles, decisions processes, messaging strategies, and more insights critical to developing highly relevant and actionable campaigns across channels.
Track status of all active marketing projects, campaigns, and deliverables; proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks.
Collaborate closely with creative, web, digital, events, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of assets, content, and campaign components.- Facilitate project handoffs, kickoffs, and review cycles to ensure clarity of goals, messaging, assets, and timelines.
Ensure all marketing outputs meet AORN's brand, regulatory, and quality standards, working closely with the creative team to assure adherence to brand standards and values.
Ensure all assets for all projects (copy, design, web content, collateral, email sequences, social assets) move through appropriate review and approval processes within the marketing team and among LOB stakeholders.
Maintain organized repositories of campaign materials, templates, creative briefs, and historical project documentation in SharePoint or other assigned folders.
Assist with preparing and updating audience insights, objectives, success metrics, and key messaging as assigned by the Sr Manager, Segment Marketing.
Support the Sr Manager, Segment Marketing in compiling campaign performance metrics, dashboards, and post-campaign reports, and preparing and maintaining playbooks for HCO sales team.
Track KPIs (engagement, acquisition, renewal, conversion, leads, ROI) and assist with analyzing trends and identifying risks and opportunities to optimize spends and resources.
Support management of project intake processes, prioritization frameworks, and resource allocation.
Maintain competing priorities, shifting timelines, and multiple projects.
Assist the segment team in evaluating marketing technology tools, workflows, or systems to improve efficiency.
Provide meeting summaries, project progress reports and documentation, milestone tracking, and follow-up communications for HCO and Books marketing initiatives.
Assist with preparation of presentations, collateral, or briefing materials for internal and external partners.
Other duties as assigned.

Must Have's to be our Marketing Project Manager, HCO & Books:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, project management or related field. A combination of education and work experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 3 -- 4 years of project management or marketing operations experience, ideally in healthcare (medical industry, hospitals/health systems, or related healthcare industries) or associations.
Experience working with marketing tools such as CMS, CRM, marketing automation, workflow/project management platforms and analytics dashboards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
Experience in an agency setting, internal or external.
Familiarity with integrated marketing campaigns, digital marketing workflows, marketing AI functionality, and cross-functional creative processes.
PMP, CPM, or equivalent project management certification.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
Strong project management capabilities, including timeline creation, tracking, documentation, and communication.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to detail and organization.
Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
