Job Description:
GDIT has been supporting the IHS mission for 20+ years; working with the agency to provide integral services to raise health access and availability to 2.6 million American Indians and Alaska Natives. You'll be part of modernizing the EHR platform to enable better data access, patient experience, and quality of care for 567 tribes, 37 states and over 600 medical facilities.
Our work depends on a Senior ServiceNow Developer joining our team to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program. As a ServiceNow Developer Senior supporting the IHS EHRM program, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the ServiceNow instance for the program.
This position is fully remote, US based.
HOW THIS ROLE WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Develop, configure, and maintain custom reports, dashboards (using PA/Reporting), and KPIs for ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) to visualize performance and trends
Build and customize applications, workflows, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Client Scripts within ITSM modules
Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products
Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs
Script and automate processes, data imports, and report generation to enhance efficiency
Connect ServiceNow with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs
Perform platform health checks, upgrades, and user/role management
Ensure solutions adhere to ServiceNow best practices, minimize technical debt, and support platform governance
Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality
Participate in IT-related technical processes reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvement
Maintain current ServiceNow and industry certifications, while obtaining additional certifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (additional work experience can be used in lieu of a degree)
5+ years of experience supporting cloud deployment and maintaining cloud solutions
Strong proficiency with ServiceNow ITSM and SPM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog) and platform capabilities
Proficiency with ServiceNow Reporting and Performance Analytics (PA)
Exposure to ServiceNow's data management tools such as Import Sets, Transform Maps, and the CMDB
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs
Understanding of ACLs, UI Policies, and Business Rules
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the year, if needed.

Experience supporting federal contract program manager.
Experience with additional ServiceNow modules beyond ITSM and SPM
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage frequently changing priorities of competing importance.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal/external teams including key stakeholders and customers.
Ability to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our program.

The likely salary range for this position is $108,800 - $147,200. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
