Job Description:
The Corporate Accounting Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing key components of Envista's global accounting operations. This position is responsible for driving excellence in lease accounting, managing the Envista Holdings legal entities, and contributes to the accurate and timely preparation of Envista's quarterly financial statements. The role requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively across worldwide accounting, real estate, and corporate finance teams. Serving as a strategic partner and subject matter expert, this individual ensures accurate and timely financial reporting, supports compliance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 842, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen processes, controls, and data quality across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the global lease portfolio, partnering closely with real estate administration and worldwide accounting teams to manage extensions, amendments, terminations, and other lifecycle events through the lease accounting software.
Lead all lease accounting activities, including identifying applicable lease terms for new agreements, determining appropriate lease classification, ensuring accurate and complete data entry within the lease accounting system, and preparing and reviewing lease-related journal entries and reconciliations as part of the period-end close to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with ASC 842 and U.S. GAAP.
Oversee Envista Holdings entities' monthly close process, ensuring accurate transaction recording, reconciliations, and compliance with U.S. GAAP. Review financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and prepare management reports. Work with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and address accounting issues. Provide timely, accurate reports and insights to senior leadership to support strategic decisions and compliance.
Manage comprehensive financial reporting schedules to support quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures. Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and public company requirements and proactively monitor changes in accounting standards to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices in financial reporting.
Drive process improvements across lease accounting and financial reporting workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline tasks, strengthen controls, and enhance data quality.
Support audits, internal controls and ad-hoc projects, providing documentation, analysis, and cross-functional coordination as needed.
Job Requirements:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
CPA license required
5+ years of relevant working experience (multi-national public company or Big 4 experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Must reside within a commutable distance to Brea, CA. This is not a 'remote' role.

Target Market Salary Range:

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
