Summary The Management Analyst serves in the Geriatric Evaluation Management Clinics (GEM). Responsibility includes fiscal, personnel, program and supply management. This role is threefold: to keep abreast matters affecting the service and respond appropriately, keep Administrative Officer (AO) aware of all matters affecting the service, and to interface between the various sections within Geriatrics to expedite/enhance cost-effective, patient-centered change. Responsibilities Responsible for management of resources including authorized FTE, overtime, and fund control points to ensure that resources are within established ceilings and guidelines. Monitors resource needs throughout the fiscal year and notifies Program Directors of projected needs and/or shortcomings. Identifies workload trends and perform statistical analyses to determine resource needs and projections to accurately compile analyze and prepare management reports such as the AIMS and Labor Mapping for fiscal and data validation purposes. Prepares all CLCs and GEM clinics program reports and contributes to the Business Plan and other report(s) as needed. Assists in developing and implementing policies in accordance with the needs of CLCs and GEM clinics by aligning them with the needs of the System. Manages all CLC and GEM clinic Electronic Inventory Lists (EIL) for equipment by inventories; entering into VISTA all purchased equipment, new equipment, replacements, transfer of equipment, and turn in of equipment. Reviews life expectance of equipment and makes equipment recommendations to the AO and Program Directors, used in the business planning process. Requires researching complicated medical and non-medical equipment for use within the CLCs and GEM clinics. Works with the GEC AO in the development of proposals and new CLC/GEM programs, ensuring that they are consistent with both system and service mission and goals. This may include a thorough cost analysis and identification of budget, space, FTE, equipment and supply requirements. Delegated as CLC Program Safety Officer, ensuring compliance with established safety policies. Delegated GEC Automated Data Processing Applications Coordinator (ADPAC), the Systems Administrator for AccuCare, and is responsible for evaluating the accuracy of data assuring that hardware, software and network resource components are working, and reported to GEC leadership.
