Position Summary...
The Manager, Audit, leads and oversees audit activities by developing strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role directs audit planning, execution, and reporting while identifying control deficiencies and improvement opportunities. The position fosters team development through mentoring and coaching, promotes adherence to ethical standards, and drives continuous process enhancements. By leveraging data analysis and collaborating cross-functionally, the Manager ensures compliance with policies and regulations, supports organizational integrity, and contributes to operational excellence within a dynamic and evolving environment.
About the team:
The Internal Audit team provides independent assurance and advisory support across Walmart's Health & Wellness and Real Estate sectors. They safeguard assets, enhance operational effectiveness, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Collaborating with business leaders, the team delivers insights that improve processes, reduce risks, and support strategic goals. Their work covers pharmacies, healthcare operations, site selection, construction, and asset management. Emphasizing analytical thinking and clear communication, the team builds strong partnerships while maintaining professional independence, driving accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement aligned with Walmart's mission.
What you'll do...
Coordinate and oversee audit activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders and supporting business objectives.
Plan and execute corporate, divisional, and functional audits, including high-risk investigations involving irregularities and compliance issues.
Assign and direct audit staff in validating control design, testing controls, and identifying process deficiencies.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations through clear, executive-level reports tailored to stakeholders.
Drive audit process efficiencies by identifying automation opportunities and standardizing methodologies.
Provide supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities to audit associates.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Proven expertise in audit planning and execution, including developing and managing comprehensive audit programs.
Strong knowledge of accounting regulations, auditing standards, and control deficiency management.
Experience leading audit teams, providing mentorship, and fostering professional development.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
